My passion for healthcare began early. As a high school student, I worked at a local doctor’s office where I helped patients and assisted the office in sending claims to insurance carriers. That experience opened my eyes to the challenges people face when dealing with insurance and sparked my lifelong commitment to serving others in the healthcare field.
I bring over 25 years of experience in the healthcare field, specializing in insurance and customer service, to every client I meet. My career began in healthcare, where I developed a deep understanding of how insurance impacts individuals and families in their everyday lives. Over the years, I’ve worked with countless people navigating complex coverage decisions, and I’ve learned that insurance isn’t just about policies and numbers—it’s about protecting people’s health, financial security, and peace of mind.
I worked at Rush as a Denial Management professional, working with providers to resolve denials through peer-to-peer reviews and assisting with the process of gathering documentation to file appeals for insurance denials. This experience gave me an in-depth understanding of the complexities of insurance and the critical importance of advocating for patients.
Six years ago, I decided to focus on Medicare. Medicare is often described as a maze—and for good reason. Between Parts A, B, C, and D, supplemental options, networks, and strict enrollment deadlines, it can be overwhelming for anyone to navigate. My mission is to guide clients through this process with clarity, compassion, and step-by-step support, so they feel empowered to make confident choices.
Medicare also holds a very personal meaning for me. My late mother had Medicare, and I was deeply thankful for the coverage when she was hospitalized for over two months. It gave her access to the care she needed without overwhelming financial strain. Today, my father is also a Medicare beneficiary, and thanks to its coverage, he has been able to see multiple specialists and undergo important procedures at an affordable cost. These personal experiences remind me every day of the value Medicare provides—and why I am so dedicated to helping others understand and make the most of their benefits.
As an insurance agent, I pride myself on being approachable, friendly, and genuinely invested in the well-being of my clients. I specialize in helping individuals and families find the right health and life insurance plans, as well as vision, dental, and even pet coverage. In addition, I provide notary services and assistance with Transfer on Death Instruments (TODI) to help clients plan ahead and protect their loved ones. With a strong background in customer service, I take pride in making complex processes simple, guiding clients step by step, and ensuring they feel confident in their decisions.
